Effective trenchless solutions
In response to the need for line works in collision with existing infrastructure or terrain obstacles, in 2010 Elektropaks established an HDD (Horizontal Directional Drilling) division to carry out horizontal directional drillings.
Today we operate six modern Ditch Witch rigs with pull forces ranging from 17 to 45 tons. We can install single- and multi-pipeline systems up to 800 m in length and 900 mm in diameter.
In 2024 our HDD fleet was expanded with two new rigs offering 250 -ton pull force and one rig with 100 -ton pull force, enabling us to undertake even the most demanding HDD installations.
Additionally, we have the latest versions of accurate and precise tracking systems, environmentally friendly recycling systems, a full technical support infrastructure, highly qualified operators, and 24-hour service, which undoubtedly sets us apart in the market.
Using trenchless methods, especially in urban areas, allows for minimal disturbance to green spaces, reduced noise and construction time, and minimal impact on road traffic. In order to protect the natural environment, we employ specialized equipment (mud recycling units) to recover and recycle drilling material.
We carry out directional drilling under terrain obstacles such as:
- roads,
- railway lines,
- rivers and watercourses,
- densely built urban areas with a high concentration of utilities
